A History of Turtlers and Schooners of the Cayman Islands
This publication records the experiences of Cayman’s turtlers and the schooners that carried generations of Caymanian seafarers across the Caribbean and beyond.
Drawing on stories preserved from the turtlers themselves, it offers a personal account of the dangers, hardships and remarkable experiences that formed an important part of Cayman’s maritime history.
